Roar for Windows (x64)
============================

GETTING STARTED
Open Roar.exe (or the Roar shortcut). The first time, pick the
name people will see, then either:

  * Join with an invite link: paste the link a friend sent you, or just
click the link in your browser and choose "Open in Roar".
  * Host a server on this PC: one click starts your own server and gives
you an invite link to send to friends.

Servers you join stay in your list until you leave them. If the person
hosting a server isn't online, you'll see "Server Owner is not hosting
right now"; it reconnects by itself when they're back.

HOSTING
Settings > Hosting (or the + button > Host a Server on This PC):
  * Start Hosting / END starts and stops your server.
  * "Keep hosting when Roar is closed" keeps it running in the
background; use END (or the tray icon > END Hosting) to stop it.
  * "Show the server window" runs server\server.bat in a console window
instead of hidden in the background.
  * Invite links never change unless you press "Reset link". Nobody who
joins sees your IP address, and you don't need to forward any ports.
  * Optional: a custom address (like a Minecraft server address) if you
have a domain pointed at this PC.
Your server's data is in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Roar\Roar\hosted-server
("Data folder" on the Hosting page). Back that folder up.

server\server.bat starts the same server by hand, if you prefer.

AI BOTS
Settings > AI Bots: make your own AI chatbot with an API key from an AI
provider (or a model running on this PC). The key stays on this PC. You
choose who may use the bot; they can talk to it but never see the key. The
bot answers while Roar is open on your PC.

WINDOWS SMARTSCREEN
The app isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may warn the first time:
click "More info" > "Run anyway".

THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE
